I’m told that I greet a lot of my friends with, “Hello My Friend,” on the phone so that’s how I’m starting my first post…like talking to one of my girls… So, I’m really excited to finally get my blog going!! It’s been on my to-do list for months now. Since I have relatives and certain friends that are not (or refuse to be) on Facebook and other sites, I figure this is going to be the easiest way to tally all of our travels, crazy moments with the pups, post pics and remember all of the other fun moments that I can’t wait to share with everyone (but seem to always forget). I’m sure a huge portion of my blog will consist of our “Cocker Tales”–that being who we are obsessed with–our ridiculously gorgeous cocker spaniels. As you all know by now, Wrigley and Goose keep us entertained and laughing every single day…and it’s my ultimate goal to write a few childrens books on their adventures and absolute human qualities. They will probaby be referred to by their nicknames often –”Wrigo” and “Goo.” Most write of their kid’s adventures, I will write about our puppers. As I type this they are both staring at me like they know I’m talking about them. They seem to be on very good behavior at the moment. When we first got Wrigley I actually starting writing, “Wrigley and Her Bell” and had others in mind. We potty-trained her with a bell hung on a trunk by the front door and she caught on in 4 days (smarty-pants). Maybe I’ll have to delve back into the memory vault and start posting all of the old stories. I have kept most of the notebooks that our pet sitter (Tammy–LOVE her) and I write back and forth everyday and during trips–so that will definitely help jog the memories. If you’re not a dog lover, you might as well stop right now and read no further–you are guaranteed to be bored with my blog haha! Ba-bye… I’m constantly told that I leave voicemails exactly how I talk to people, so I’m guessing this blog will be the same. I always seem to type just as I would say something out loud….and I wonder when it was that I started using so many dashes, parenthesis and periods?? So, that’s it–this is my first blog, yeah for me!
