Hello my Friend!
Tampa is the new San Fran. Ok, not really. Buuuuuut….we did just get an amazing venue downtown. Oxford Exchange. Doesn’t it just sound fancy? It’s right across the street from the University of Tampa and underwent an incredible renovation this past September. The building is 122 years old. The new multi-use space was built with the feel of English shops and clubs. I had a meeting there yesterday and was blown away when I arrived.
The architecture and details are heaven. It houses a cozy bookstore, a shop of diverse finds, tea and coffee choices to share on leather couches, a private club area for meetings and lunches, interior design services (ah, no wonder!), special events venue and restaurant with inside and open-roof areas.

You can definitely judge a place by the bathrooms and check out this one. I could live in there.

I sat down for grilled cheese, kale chips and mango mandarin tea.

Beverage wise, they only serve teas right now, but their liquor license is coming from what my contact told me. Here’s a peek at the menu the day I went.

If I lived closer, I would hang out here all the time.

Such a mix of character in keeping the old, with modern touches.

You can tell nothing was spared, including the choices of items in the shop. I was in there forever as you can imagine.

They’re only open early morning to late afternoon. Evenings are saved for events, which I’m sure are perfect in the different spaces available.

So, check out Oxford Exchange next time you can. It’s a cool, big-city addition to the FL. Thumbs up. Way up!
