So, you know how Oprah and Ellen have their “favorite” things?  Well, I decided that since it is 11.11.11, that makes today the perfect day for me to pick mine (I can sense your excitement).  I grabbed my camera and went around the house picking out my FAVORITE things for you. 

In no particular order, here they are…..drumroll please….

#1 Bracelets (from Stella and Dot).  Love the rose gold one (goes on the same wrist as #10) and the snake is just cool beans.

#2 Baby Books (my mom gave me these this Spring when I was back in Chicago).  That pic makes me crack up bc I think I got that scabby nose from running out the door and falling over garbage bags.  Classic.

#3 Clarisonic (from Sephora).  Such a great investment.  Your face will never feel more clean!!

$4 Leather jacket (Michael Kors).  Find of the year.  I scored this jacket off-season at Burlington Coat Factory for $300 OFF the retail price.  Holy crapola.  Rocker chic.

#5 Kipling bags (from Dillards and Kipling website).  Everyone always asks me what I travel with and these are the best I’ve found.  You can shove so much stuff in them.  I have 2 cross-body ones that are my “go-to’s” for concerts and games (the cream and brown ones).  A backpack that’s perfect for quick trips, fests, etc. (not shown).  The perfect carry-on (the larger navy tote on the bottom) is what I use to put my jewelry, mags, holds the smaller blue one, etc. in on the plane.  The make-up bag (royal blue on top) is where I put my large necklaces, hair stuff, make-up, cotton balls, etc. in.  Love this brand…awesome Christmas gifts!!

#6 Perfume (Stella McCartney).  I have to say credit for me smelling so good goes to my girl Michelle.  She sent me a little one of this last year and I haven’t stopped wearing it–for reals (you can see that it’s about time for a newbie).  I can’t tell you how many people stop me and ask what I’m wearing.  This is it people.  Love.

#7 Purses (Stuart Weitzman and Kate Landry).  These go together as one bc I switch off and on between them right now.  My weakness is no doubt purses (ok, well, maybe boots too), so when I saw that black Stuart Weitzman hobo at Nordstrom Rack for over $400 off (seriously!!), it was a no-brainer.  The Kate Landry was on sale at Dillards and I think the stone and army colors are fantastic together.

#8 No Flame Candles (QVC and gifts from my mom).  My house is full of em, in pretty much every room, including the bathrooms.  They all have timers, which is great around the holidays, especially in windows.

#9 Cowboy boots (gift from CW).  These sh*t-kickers are bad-a** (pardon my language, but they are).  You can kindof see how the toe is pointed and not square, that means I’ve graduated to the big boys.  The aqua design is very “me” and they make me think of Telluride.  I’ll break these out every chance I get.

#10 Rose Gold Watch (Michael Kors).  I do have quite a few watches, but since I fell in love with this one, I’ve never strayed.  It’s my one and only. 

#11  Framed wedding invite.  What can I say–it just reminds me of how crafty I am and I marvel at it (haha).  I spent sooooo much time embellishing these (TV trays lined up with wire cutters, branches, ribbon, yarn, hole punchers) and yes, it was worth it.  Best wedding in the mountains EVA.

I’m very lucky–I have a lot of good things in this house, but today, these are my 11 FAVORITE things…from Casa de Kays.  Happy 11.11.11!!!
