Hello My Friend!  I headed over the bridge to St. Pete today to hang with my girl Nikki and her model-looking munchkins (wow, does she have amazingly adorable kids).  In the course of chatting, I learned about these creepy little creatures, Singamajigs. 

Her 5 year old and her little friend were singing along with some toy in the other room (which was pretty cute to listen to)…until I went in there and checked out these singing things for myself.

Can you say freaky little toys???  And, what’s with the old-school “scrunchie” for a mouth?  The mouth actually opens when it’s singing–and there are little teeth in there.  Huh?  My inappropriate mind went somewhere I’m sure was not intended in the making of these (hopefully). 

I just had to tell Nikki that I thought the whole mouth thing was a bit phallic.  Yep, leave it to me to sexualize a singing toy….

We agreed that some mom probably came up with this stuffed animal by grabbing her daughter’s hair tie and hot gluing it on as a mouth.  Wa-lah–a singing sensation! 

Then I just had to add…either that, or some gross old man did…
